I am a loving mother with 3 beautiful children. My eldest son requires a special attention and care since he was diagnosed with Autism Spectrum. It is really challenging indeed. I have worked as a teacher for 3 years in 2 private schools wherein my first ever teaching experience was in my alma matter, a catholic school followed by my last 2 years was in a Muslim school. I am catholic which I have different beliefs, norms and traditions. In spite of the differences I was able to adapt quickly to the environment as I had evaluated and studied the workplace. Throughout the years, I had built a good relationship with the students and my colleagues. It has been a long time since I worked as a teacher. Even though it’s been a long time that I pursue my profession as a teacher, I still possess the qualities of a virtuous teacher. In my 18 years of working in a call center industry, I had mastered the required skills of a call center agent that one must have such as effective communication, knowledge retention, ability to handle efficiency and emotional stability. Both call center agent and a teacher has the similar qualities that makes my abilities and skills suit the description of a teacher. My current job requires active listening, knowledge retention and attention to details to gain the customer’s trust and provide satisfaction, I have to handle in calm under pressure the different kinds of customer globally and deal with the language barrier, handle objections and customer’s need to be able to respond to their queries and concerns.
