Hello friend!! I am a warm, empathetic and intelligent woman who genuinely cares for others and their journey through this life. I have raised 3 children, been married for 20 years, have a degree in psychology and have held many positions in differing fields throughout my adulthood. I am deeply passionate about parenting positively and purposefully; I feel a true calling to support step parents while they create meaningful and lasting bonds with their stepchildren. Every child needs someone to beam when they walk into a room, offer a comforting shoulder when they fall off a bike or go through a break up and have the tough conversations…sometimes that person not necessarily a biological parent. Though I do focus often on parenting and step parenting, I do love talking about other things…work, stresses, relationship frustrations or celebrations, goal reaching, talking through something you want to process, sending funny memes and gifs….I like to laugh and find that humor is a great way to deal with a lot of things, big or small.
