Hi new friend! I’m Court.???
 I’m a South African girl currently living abroad as an ESL Teacher and offering companionship along my travels! Often referred to by others as an "Old Soul" (ugh!?), I am a highly sensitive and empathic person. I feel things on a level that not many people seem to comprehend. I’m passionate about life, nature, being outdoors, animals, having a positive impact on the environment, spirituality, self-improvement, entrepreneurship, adventure, connecting with others on a deeper level and helping those in need - honestly, just to name a few! *deep breath* My love language? Quality time.?
 I’m a May baby (Taurus?) and am obsessed with being near water - though not much of a swimmer (as I suppose could be foretold in the fact that I’m, well, a Taurus!?).. Water just does something for my soul that makes me come alive man!

 As you may or may not have deduced by now, I’m very interested in astrology, numerology, mysticism and the multiverse. Darn, is there a word that encapsulates all that? ? 
A bit of a sensation seeker, I try to live life in a state of flow, for I know that what I resist, persists. It’s not always easy going and is definitely a lesson I’m still learning so, I thoroughly enjoy tearing topics like that apart over a hot cup of coffee - or an iced coffee tbf! That said, I don’t only enjoy chatting about spiritual stuff - I can talk about anything! I love reading, writing, gardening, exploring, music, dancing, [I'd say singing but it's more like] shouting, I enjoy a good party and learning new things! Currently learning Vietnamese and French. Today, you may see me as a confident, composed, organized and successful young individual, but I promise it’s not always been that way. Growing up wasn’t easy - it happened very quickly. I witnessed addiction and abuse from a very young age; saw countless therapists and psychologists and tried many different kinds of drugs to alleviate the pain and loneliness I felt. I’ve been through anxiety, depression, loneliness, feeling lost and feeling misunderstood C O U N T L E S S T I M E S ! ! BUT. Now, when I stop and take a look at where I am, and what I had to go through, and how much I learnt: I can clearly see just how necessary all that pain was in order for me to get to where I am today, with the skill set and [Brave, Wild] heart that I do! Why bring this up? Because, I want you to know that through all the hardship, I learnt a few key life lessons and skills which benefit you; 1. The importance of talking about your feelings without judgement. 2. The importance of being able to hold space for yourself and for others, and to release emotions. — Let’s agree not to bottle things up? Because, well, no explanation necessary here, I’m sure? #novolcanoes! 3. What true, unbiased emotional support is - and that it comes from a place of unconditional love. 4. The power in your thoughts. — Simple concept? Yes! Easy to carry out? Not by a long shot baby! 5. The importance of having someone in your court, and the detrimental affect it can have on your self-worth later in life when you don’t. Being my friend, you will have unrequited emotional support whenever you need it, and honest feedback, if that’s something you can appreciate. I’m a phone call away, and I care! I’m a great listener and I’m willing to share my stories and experiences with you too. I can offer advice, or just an ear and a shoulder - whatever you need! I’ve been told by my closest friends and family that talking to me has a really calming affect which in turn naturally lifts people’s moods/energies.
