Hello World, I am a 55 retiring educator! I am extremely excited for my next chapter and meeting new, interesting people around the world. I am born and raised here in Southern California and now live in Los Angeles, but I grew up about 40 minutes south in Orange County (close to Disneyland). I am retiring as a middle school administrator but was a teacher and counselor in high schools as well. I have 2 Master's Degrees in both Educational Counseling and Educational Administration; for the past 10 years I have specialized in special education. I am married, no children but we do have a zoo of fur animals, 4 dogs and 4 cats. I am a volunteer at a dog rescue and foster dogs as well, enjoy traveling, movies, the beach, reading, cooking and sports, mostly football and baseball but I can watch it all. I enjoy politics, am kind of a political junkie and am interested and fascinated with all sorts of things; I love learning and am hugely curious about everything. I'm looking forward to meeting new people!!
