I'm a 60s Australian guy, a retired IT manager with eclectic interests in books, music, movies, sport, philosophy, religion, tennis, travel. Currently travelling in SE Asia. I like to think that I balance rationality with compassion and kindness ... and I have an accepting attitude to most ways that folks manage to come up with to live a fulfilling life, although obviously not condoning ways that entail other people's suffering. I've been a lifelong (on and off) meditator and think that a buddhist/rationalist perspective on life has a lot to offer.
