I'm a grandmother, mother, auntie, sister, a good friend, good company & a good neighbor. I find purpose & meaning in life through my work as a community/cultural activist/cultural worker & social justice warrior. Areas of work; Anti-Racism, Environmental Racism, Climate Change, Education, Farmworker/Workers and Indigenous & Human Rights, as well as Food/Water & Seed Sovereignty. I am a novice dog rescuer with 4 rescues; 1(Bella) was returned to owner, 2 placed (Lula & Morgan) and one passed away, Luna was rescued too late. I currently have 2 dogs, 6 yr. old Leah, a Louisiana Catahoula Spotted Leopard Dog and 3 yr. old Diesel, a Pitsky (Husky/Pitbull Mix). Mourning the loss of my senior, 14 yr. old Russian Blue Cat, Charcoal. My dream jobs were in radio as an announcer (Gospel, Jazz, Latin Jazz)(& as a talk show producer & host of a show about business & community affairs.. I've done theater (acted, directed, wrote plays) television (principal actor & casting assistant on a telenovela and an associate producer on a community affairs program), independent film (acted) & industrial film (as an actor, writer & consultant). Currently editing my children's book and looking for cover art. Next project is either about a female serial killer (true story) or a supernatural crime story (based on a true story). I love movies (sci-fi, horror, period pieces) music (diverse tastes), reading (fiction, non-fiction, mysteries/detective, sci-fi, horror, history, African/Black/Latino & Indigenous Studies) writing (sci-fi, horror, supernatural, children's stories, short stories, plays, scripts for short films), watching ballroom dancing, Karaoke in English & Spanish, gardening, ethnic foods (cooking & eating), learning about archeology, history, conspiracy theories, the Bible, & am an avid Anglophile. Would like to try my hand at beekeeping again. Have tried on many jobs, contract jobs, MLM's and businesses. Tried many different faith & faith based systems, chose God/Jesus Christ. I like the Star Trek Vulcan IDIC (Infinite Diversity in Infinite Combinations). I've got a lot of stories to tell!! Living between Trinity, North Carolina, San Diego, California & Ensenada, Baja California, Mexico.
