Hello there! My name is Patrick and I am happy to be your friend. I am an emotionally intelligent student of psychology who truly enjoys listening to how people think, the stories they tell, and accepting and holding their vulnerability or joy. I believe that everyone has a right to what they think and who they are as a person, and its not on us as other humans to judge. We can all benefit from practicing a little more acceptance of each other. I am ADHD and Disabled from a broken neck, which lead me here. I cannot earn money in the traditional sense. I am able and more than willing to spend my time listening too, and talking with, other people. Even before I got hurt it was a huge passion of mine. I am an avid movie and TV show lover. I play DND twice a week as both a player and a DM (And have been playing and running games for over 20 years.) When I am able, I spend my time volunteering for a nearby animal shelter (Priceless Pet Rescue). Since I have limited mobility, I like to use my time socializing with the most fearful dogs. It helps give them space to feel ok around humans again, and thus increases their chances of being adopted. I am currently in a masters program to become a therapist. I like to study and practice: emotional intelligence, spirituality, self awareness and reflection, healthy masculinity, un learning societal norms, neurodivergence and mental health, polyamory, communication, and vulnerability.
