Hi, I’m Carlo, nice to meet you! I was born in Sardinia, a beautiful Italian island. When I was 26 years old I moved to London to perfect my English and I ended up staying for 13 years! Yeah, you could say I liked it over there. I began working as a waiter to pay rent and bills and I ended up making it my career and running several restaurants as manager. I particularly enjoyed the social part of the job, meeting new and old faces, establishing connections and making friends every day. When my hometown friends opened a restaurant in New York I took the chance and flew over there to manage it. It was an incredible experience. In both London and New York I also cultivated my other passion, music, playing in bands in both places. I love the energy that you create when you play with someone and even more when you take it on the stage for other people to enjoy. In New York I also met my wife and we now have two beautiful little girls that keep us busy! 3 years ago, after 9 years in the big apple, we moved to Dakar, the capital city of Senegal. Quite a different vibe from the previous places where I lived ! This is me, I hope we can get to know each other some time. See you soon!
