Greetings! My name is Margarita Veras, and I am passionate about the Spanish language and its cultural significance. I am a senior at Lehman College majoring in Spanish with a deep interest in becoming an educator and writer. Growing up in a multicultural environment with roots in Puerto Rico and the Dominican Republic, I have developed a solid connection to my Hispanic heritage. In addition, my parents instilled in me the importance of preserving and celebrating our language and culture. Therefore, I decided to pursue a career where I could share my knowledge and love for the Spanish language with others. My goal is to become an educator, teaching and guiding students to embrace the beauty and richness of Spanish literature and language. Additionally, I aspire to be a writer, using my pen to weave stories and narratives reflecting Hispanic culture's diversity and vibrancy. By combining my passion for education and writing, I hope to inspire others and contribute to promoting and preserving our linguistic and cultural heritage.
