I am a 47 year-old single father with two kids, ages 24 and 18. My ex-wife and I were together for 10 years, married for five. It wasn’t a healthy relationship, and after long enough of avoiding the inevitable, I made the difficult decision to end the marriage, even though my kids were still young at the time. It was the best decision. I went back to school, earning my masters in psychology and doctorate in organizational leadership, while working and raising my kids. Currently, I live in Henderson, NV. I work as an administrative professional for a government contractor, and have done so for over 20 years. I love helping people and consider myself an empathic listener. I have always found that people gravitate to me to talk and share. It’s a comforable space for me. I genuinely love helping others, which is part of the reason I have been successful in my career as an administrative professional. It’s all about helping others. In addition, I volunteer in a professional association, and teach administrative certification prep courses across the Middle East. I love to travel all over the world, listen to music of all genres, and watch reality tv. Although I enjoy doing all of these things, I am introverted by nature, so taking time for myself is equally important.
