I call myself a young man but I often find myself feeling old! The stresses of life are not rare so it would be great to interact with other people and share common interests. I work as a financial crime analyst, and In my spare time I lead a number of different lives which merge and complement each other perfectly. I'm a member of a youth organisation (Ahmadiyya Muslim Youth Association) that works at local regional and national levels. With AMYA I have had many different roles, all voluntary, which have helped me to understand the value of giving, and have reinforced the meaning of my community’s motto - "Love for All, Hatred for None". I also now understand why "The hand that gives, is greater than the hand that takes". This saying is one of the biggest influences on the person I am today, and encourages me to be more involved in humanitarian work. I enjoy sports, tv, film, music, art, languages, history, culture. I find myself attracted to a number of different hobbies and I love to get stuck in. I always end up doing a deep dive if there’s something I find really interesting! I believe in dialogue and discussion, and hope to continue writing and let words do all the fighting for me. As the famous poet Jalaludin Rumi says: "Raise your words, not your voice. It is rain that grows flowers, not thunder."
