I have a graduate degree in Sociology and have years of experience working with supporting newcomers to set up their life in Canada. I am also an educator and I work with post-secondary students. I am an introvert but have learned to become an extrovert to some degree. I love nature and when I have the chance I spend time somewhere with trees. I am passionate about human connections and value empathy and respect. I am a Middle Eastern immigrant and have lived through isolation and loneliness and have learned to be a good listener. I have received training in violence prevention and suicide prevention as I have volunteered in support services for a few years. I respect every and all human beings with their unique worlds and choices.
