Hello New Friends! My name is Jim, though I go by many names (Jimmy, Jimbo). I'm thrilled to connect with you. First and foremost, I'm a proud father, and my kids are the center of my world. Being a parent has taught me so much about love, patience, and the joy of watching little ones grow and explore the world around them. When I'm not busy being a dad, you'll often find me on my skateboard, gliding through the streets with a sense of freedom and adrenaline that's hard to match. Skateboarding has been a lifelong passion of mine, and it's not just a sport to me; it's a form of self-expression and a way to connect with others who share the same enthusiasm for the board. In my professional life, I'm a therapist, and I find immense fulfillment in helping people navigate through life's challenges, discover their inner strengths, and achieve personal growth and healing. Empathy and understanding are the cornerstones of my approach, and I'm always open to new perspectives and ideas in my quest to support others on their journeys. Now, here's where things get interesting—I'm an unapologetic comic book nerd! Whether it's the classics or the latest releases, I can talk for hours about superheroes, their origin stories, and the rich universes they inhabit. There's just something magical about these colorful characters and the moral dilemmas they face that captivates my imagination. I like all things pop culture. I am currently collecting and growing my collection of all the things I like with Marvel/DC (why choose one?!?), Music, and beyond. I'm currently also getting back into collecting Pokemon cards. I like video games, though I do not call myself much of a gamer. I like to read, but mainly I am a movie buff. In addition to being a therapist and comic book aficionado, I'm also a musician. I play the guitar, bass guitar, and ukulele, and music is another outlet for self-expression that I hold dear to my heart. Whether it's strumming along to my favorite songs or jamming with friends, playing music brings me joy and keeps my creative juices flowing. I love to express myself in writing poetry or songs. My favorite music is all over the place, I like it all. Everything from driving hard rock to synth R&B. My favorite music though is grunge and pop punk. Lastly, I have an insatiable curiosity and an open mind when it comes to learning from others. I'm a firm believer that everyone has a story to share and valuable insights to offer. I find genuine excitement in engaging in meaningful conversations, exchanging ideas, and expanding my horizons through the diverse perspectives of those around me. There is so much that I like, and really I like everything. It is so hard to put it all in one little about me section.
