Hi, I’m just another human being trying to exist…and I have no idea what I am doing. I love to hear about other people’s experience being alive and share my own and relate to others regardless of our differences or conflicting views or ways of living— I love connecting with strangers in moments of mutual respect, compassion, common decency, open-hearted kindness, or unexpected shared sense of humor. I love making people laugh. Not with jokes— I can’t remember a single joke, it’s like my brain refuses to keep anything funny saved for later retelling— and so I’m either naturally funny as myself, or not funny at all! But when I make my girlfriend, best friends, or brother laugh, it’s usually just by making observations, questioning things that are taken for granted or unconsciously accepted, or pure, unadulterated silliness. That said, I am also at times a very quiet and low-key person, so I don’t always come across as playful or funny, even if that part of me is always accessible beneath the surface. I am available for anything from light-hearted, irreverent distraction from your problems/sources of stress, to sincere and sympathetic listening, understanding, and whatever degree or type of (honest but constructive) feedback you are open to…I don’t claim to know anything about anything, but I am honest and open with my thoughts and intuitive sense of the world around me. Sometimes I don’t know what to say. Other times I talk too much— like, this, for example! So enough said, for now, and I look forward to meeting you :)
