Born and raised in San Diego, California, Steve's journey began at the University of Southern California (USC), where he pursued his passion for finance and graduated with a major in the subject. Following his graduation, Steve embarked on a dynamic career path, exploring various industries and roles to gain a well-rounded understanding of business operations. It was during this period that he discovered his affinity for accounting and decided to specialize in this field. Starting as an associate with no prior experience, Steve quickly rose through the ranks due to his strong work ethic and dedication to excellence. With over 15 years of experience under his belt, Steve is now recognized as a highly experienced and results-driven Controller. He has successfully held Controller positions in diverse industries, including a high-end staffing/recruiting firm, a media sales company, and a private equity-funded startup. In each of these roles, Steve has consistently demonstrated his expertise in financial management, strategic planning, and operational efficiency. In addition to his professional accomplishments, Steve is proud of his personal life as well. He has been happily married for 15 years and shares a home with his two beloved dogs. Steve's passion for life extends beyond the boardroom, and he enjoys exploring different regions of California. After college, he has resided in various locations, including Los Angeles, South Orange County, Oakley, and San Jose, before returning to Los Angeles.
