I live in a friendly city in the American Midwest that is sometimes called the biggest small town in the United States. (Any guesses?) Professionally, I am a freelance editor; I've spent a few years in customer service; and I'm a lifelong advocate of disability rights. My personal interests are vast – from reading (any Stephen King fans out there?), movies (oh, how I miss Robin Williams!), and music (more Pearl Jam, please!) to pets, cooking, entrepreneurship, and current events – which is just to say that I'm likely to have some knowledge of or interest in whatever you'd like to talk about. As a friend, I am emotionally mature. I'm very good at listening and can offer sound advice if you want me to, though I also know that a sounding board is sometimes better when silent.
