I am a retired Nurse. I worked 42 years as Critical care and Emergency care Nurse. I was also in all aspects of Management from Charge to Supervisor to Director Of Nursing. I enjoy all people. We are all unique but we are all pink on the inside. That is my response when asked how I feel about racism and bigotry. I am open minded for discussion of any topic. I have great array of interests. I volunteer in several places. I like working with animal shelters to help dogs become more adoptable. Some dogs need to trust humans again. I volunteer in a memory care center. Loneliness is like grief . It can become overwhelming. Kindness and genuine conversations can be a blessing. I do not impose my beliefs on others. I want to talk not preach. My interests are broad from gardening to sewing to meditation. I am not perfect, just ask my sister. She says I am ornery. I say I am a delicate flower...with thorns. We now live together. I have a rescue long hair dapple dachshund. She has a 5lb Chihuahua who thinks he is a great dane and a terrier mix. I named my wiener dog Sam. I got him on the day they wanted to eliminate Dr. Suess from schools. He is named for "Green Eggs And Ham". One of my Grandkids Favorites. I have 2 adult children and 5 grandchildren. They live in Texas. I moved back to Illinois due to Austin Texas is expensive to live. It has grown from 130,000 to 3 million people. I grew up in farming community. '
