Hello, I'm Betty, Lizzy, or Elizabeth. Whichever one you prefer because I like them all.. Lol I'm a city girl turned rural mom. I've traveled and moved around often and have visited quite a chunk of the states. I've seen more than I haven't seen & the rest are on my bucket list. I've lived in 4 states and moved around in each one, experiencing many different cultures just miles away from each other. I know random things about all sorts of topics from roaming around. I found the countryside is a good place to raise kids, so I'm staying here til they are all out of school, I think. ? I still like to go vacationing though, so who knows where we'll visit next. I do a lot of painting and crafts. I also do some odd ball things, like making art out of slime and wearing masks for no reason except for that it's fun. I love Halloween so I have a lot of random mask and I'm always looking for new ones that are unique. I also love costume make up, prosthetics & wardrobe. I am fascinated by cinema style make up, costumes and everything about dressing up.. I have studied runes for about 20 years. I find them fascinating and insightful. I have a soft spot for anything viking related. I can read & interpret them pretty well and love to read them for people. Or talk about the research that other people have done on them. I also like bind runes and creating new ways to join them for specific purposes or just for fun. I also know quite a bit about essential oils, herbs and plants. I'm always wanting to learn more and love to research or talk about anythingthat grows in the ground. Surprisingly, I don't have much of a green thumb even though I love plants so much. I get busy sometimes and forget to stick my routine for their care but I'm getting better at remembering to water and write them on my to do lists. I love any pointers about gardening and love to share what I've learned too. I've also studied crystals for about 20 years. I love to read about them and have probably way too many. I bought a lot to sell and could never part with them. They stay here with me unless I feel like giving one away, which does happen sometimes. I like to buy them raw and polish them by hand. I occasionally buy fancy polished or cut ones, but I really like the natural shape and hand polishing them myself. I'm agnostic so I'm always open to the fact that you or I can be proven wrong about anything, at any time. I tend to lean towards the science side of things but even science, that is well researched & tested, could be untrue as this could all be a hologram, a dream, a game, or any other augmented reality or mindf*€k. I just feel no one really knows what is going on here. I don't worship any god or deity, etc. I have no religious ties or affiliation to any group that is organized as a religion. I do feel there is more going on than just this, but I won't speculate to know what "it" is. I do have my tendencies that I gravitate towards from my own experiences such as I find black salt tends to have protective qualities. I treat life kind of life one big science experiment. Any beliefs I have on the workings of things comes from the things I experience & the data I gather. So, with the salt, for example, I have not been harmed in any way 100% of the times I have sprinkled it. That's what happened in my science experiment with it. Now if it's actually science, coincidence, ethereal intervention, or anything else we can dream up, remains to be seen. But it's the way I deal with questioning everything. I might go mad not having any system to guide my belief system. I have an excellent sense of humor and love to make fun of everyone and everything, equally. Even myself. Especially myself. Lol If we can laugh at ourselves and see the humor in all areas of life, I feel we have a better time than if everything is stuffy, stressful and serious. I love memes and jokes and anything funny, especially spontaneous jokes from current conversation content. I believe in equal (not special) rights for everyone and take every person on a "by personality" basis regardless of skin color, religion, sexual orientation etc. Although, I really do question getting involved with people who have terrible taste in music. ? (jk) I'm kind of a nerd and love Star Wars, Comic Book, Fantasy and other geek type characters, stories, toys and trivia. I have a few old Spawn toys, miniature Star Wars set ups, FunkoPops, old Barbies still I the box and other nerd stuff like that. I love a ton of music from all kinds of genres.. But I really love Punk and Hardcore music best. I'm super into stuff that is raw and real & doesn't seem commercialized. I used to sing opera and love that style of music too and enjoy things like Phantom of the Opera & The Nutcracker, ShowTunes, Sing-a-longs and the like. I really like anything that has art to it and doesn't sound like it was written just to make money. I do love some old school rap like Westside Connection, NWA, Snoop, Dre, Biggie, TuPac, EasyE and most things from that time frame. I am not too fond of the new rap type stuff I've heard. Type O Negative is my favorite, favorite band as Pete Steele was a genius and no one can argue otherwise. Lol I love Johnny Cash too but I'm not into a large amount of country music, especially newer stuff. I can talk about almost anything and can see the different sides to almost any situation. I love learning new things and expanding on my knowledge, so if there's something no one ever wants to talk about with with you, I probably will.
