Per minuteAm a 56 year old Kenyan male, widowed with 4 children. Am a B.Sc Biochemistry graduate, University of Nairobi. My working life was pharmaceutical sales then later pharmaceutical manufacturing. Am now retired and into private business I enjoy music and sports. Despite my success in academics and career, I have been unable to accumulate wealth, and I cannot help wondering where I went wrong. Was it because being a first born in a humble African family, I overcommitted to help my family, or did it have something to do with my marriage which fell apart after only five years of a stormy relationship? Or is it the fact that I over- dedicated my time and effort to my employment? To make things worse, my children who are grown now and leave separately, seem to keep to themselves despite my efforts to reach out. I feel defeated, lonely and embarrassed all at the same time.
