Hello, I am Ruben. Those were the easiest four words to write in my bio. So far I have began and erased 5 times. So I am just going to let it flow. I am the youngest of 5 siblings, one brother and three sisters. I was born in Orlando, Florida but was raised in Phoenix, Arizona. Growing up I was the kid in outfeild that was paying more attention to the butterflies in the air that to the game that was being played. I was picked on in elementary school as I was one of the smaller kids in class until I started my growth spurt toward the end of the fourth grade. I pretty much was done growing in height bybthe 6th grade. So once I sized up the bullying stopped and with my new size I decided that I wouldn't allow any bullying in my presence. I am the type of person that is willing to try new things. I like being able to say that I don't like it becuase I've tried it not becuase I think I wouldn't like it. I base my opinions off of my own personal experience and not from the opinions of others. That took work. My hair began thinning when I was a freshman in highschool and was very self-conscious about it. I would use a black sharpie to color my scalp where it had thinned for about a month until it finally clicked that I was only doing it becuase I cared more about what others thought of me than I did. And that epiphany was the end of that. From that day forward I became comfortable in my own skin. That doesn't mean that somedays I dont get frustrated with certain things but its only from time to time. I try to make the best of each day becuase I learned early in life that noone is guaranteed tomorrow. My mother passed when I was 15 and I lost several other loved ones along the way. So those that are close to me are precious in my eyes. I am an optimist but am not naive to bad intentions of some. Becuase of that I tend to keep my circle small. I'll let anyone in, but I allow their actions be why that do not remain. I feel like I'm being long winded so I'll conclude with what interests me. I enjoy ourdoors, camping and fishing, althoughbit has been to long since I have last been. I enjoy woodworkig, drawing and board games. I like learning about new things and working with my hands. I in the recent years have began reselling which has provided me with many opportunities to research items that are antique,retro and vintage. This too is fun for me. I enjoy mobile games and Youtube shorts. I am an animal person and have social anxiety in larger groups but do well one on one.
