My name is Vanessia. Please forgive the length of my profile. It’s my intention to give you as much information about me as possible. I’d love to be your Cyber-Friend. I’m someone that it’s easy to spend some friendly cyber~time with. So this Profile is sort of like me writing a letter to you. I’m the single mom of a 18-year-old son. Family means the world to me. I live in ELGIN IL. Which is about an hour outside of Chicago IL. I’ve always lived in the Chicago area and have been exposed to all of the wonderful diversity that the city has to offer through all of the many Museums, Art Institutions, Festivals and Fairs. Although, I haven’t been able to travel yet, I love learning about new places and things. It’s my pleasure to learn all about you! I can’t wait to spend time cyber-chatting and building a great friendship with you. A little about me: I'm a sky-watcher. A sky-watcher is a person who appreciates and watches the sky and all of its beauty. My late mother used to say that the sky is God’s pallet. Every day He gives us a brand new masterpiece to behold. And try as we might, we can’t duplicate the beauty on canvas or digitally. Many have tried. I tend to believe that! I love to smile and laugh! I'm always on the lookout for the next hysterical moment! Smiling and Laughing is Super Healthy. Did you know that it takes more face muscles to frown than to smile? Sure does! So laugh your way into better health and a longer life! LOL! That’s all Powerful, Positive Energy that I want around me. So, if you have a great smile and a great sense of humor, it's a plus in my book. Let’s be Besties! I can be a big kid at heart! When the weather is nice, and my body is feeling good, I like parks, carnivals, festivals, being around the water and gardens and so much more like that. I like museums, art and culture exhibits. I enjoy a good MOVIE too. No chick-flicks please lol! I love music too! All kinds! Whatever moves me! But I'm a 70's baby so give me my R&B OLD SCHOOL (the best). NEVER take away my SLOW JAMS! I like jazz and blues. Hip-Hop is hot and I crave battle rap. I also love Latin music. Salsa, Merengue, Cumbria. I also enjoy reggae and even classical sometimes. And guess what yawl, I even have some Rock songs in my rotation! It all speaks to my heart! But Funk!!! Now that's the stuff I gotta have in rotation too! FLASHLIGHT, what yawl know about that?
