Hi! I'm Scott, 57 years old, veteran, and a former aviation Airframe and Powerplant Mechanic instructor for over 14 years... My hobbies are antique cars and restoration, flying, military vehicles, music, WWII history, and I am trying to learn Spanish as well as the guitar! I am available to chat on any of those subjects, and maybe more. If you are an A&P student interested in discussing problems you may be having with the concepts, or preparing for your O&P, I would be happy to try to clarify things with you: as I am not associated with a school now, I will not call it tutoring, nor do I issue any certificate, signoff, or other statement of competency. I charge a higher rate for the expert knowledge, however it is in the realm of friend to friend, helping you remember what you already know, or clarifying what you have confusion about, but I am not instructing, nor should I be considered as doing so, nor should you consider me a replacement for your instructor. I am simply a person with in depth knowledge, helping someone get focused, for a fee...(I tried to find tutoring standards in the FARs and had no luck, so I am just trying to avoid a problem) As to the other interests, I have been a car restorer since I was 16, military historian centered on WWII history longer than that. I can discuss old music, or pretty much anything at length. I am a wealth of useless information, and love to chat! I should be online starting later this week (July 3-7) and will be planning to start around 2 to 3 hours a night availability, probably 8 to 10 or 11 PM.
