I try not to take life too seriously. It’s so easy to get bogged down in the muddy waters of everyday trivia that we often neglect to laugh at ourselves. There is much to be grateful for and if you blink one can miss out on a beautiful sunset or the freshness of an afternoon thunderstorm. Since early childhood, I’ve been drawing and painting, and to a lesser or greater extent art has been part of the way I work and live. My interests are a mile wide and include a love for cooking, baking, long walks, woodwork, welding, literature, anthropology, some politics, nature, environment, film, road trips, humor, and a myriad of things that grab hold of my attention on any given day. Music is as essential to me as ever and I appreciate an ever-increasing diversity of music genres. However, I can just as easily spend my days in silence with just the chirping of birds in the background. I consider myself to be a good listener, and compassionate, and try to avoid judgmental attitudes. I derive joy from being supportive and of benefit to others. Most importantly, our lives are too short and precious for us not to laugh as often as we can, so let's chat and find out if we find the same things funny.
