I am a middle aged woman with a bachelors degree in psychology as well as social work. I pride myself in being a great, active listener who can provide either just someone to vent to, or offer advice if so desired. My life has been a wild journey moving back and forth from upstate NY to SC and GA. I've also traveled to California and briefly lived in NM for about half a year. All the traveling has blessed me with many teachers along the way and has made me a wonderful storyteller as well. I'm also good at helping with writers block. I was in a little band for a while and we only did originals except for two cover songs, (Pink Floyd's "Wish You Were Here," and "Simple Man"). I have lots of useless trivia wasting space in my brain along with Miss song lyrics I've heard from the 60's on up to about the 2000's. I've been told one of my super powers is the ability to recognize the shy folks and relating to and being genuine with them so that I'm able to draw them out and into conversations and interactions with others. I have a very wide variety of taste in music, am a movie buff, love to learn, and have a cat. I currently live in waaay northern NY. I am new at this, so I'm quite sure I will be experimenting with my 'rates,' so to speak.
