For the last 5 years I have lived completely off grid. I grow or raise 80% of my own food. My home, which I built, runs entirely off of solar power and rainwater. I have focused the last 5 years on living and growing sustainably so as to lessen my impact on the planet. I am well versed in permaculture and natural building techniques. I have a through understanding of native and invasive plants and their uses both as food and medicine. Have a through understanding of native and invasive pests and diseases and ways to counter and iradicate them. I am well versed in running and maintaining machines from small push mowers to large excavators. I have built and maintained aquaponics, drip irrigation and flood table systems. Well-versed in propagating all types of flowers, trees and shrubbery with both traditional and organic approaches.
