I was born in grew up in Arkansas, raised on a farm surrounded by chickens, pigs, vegetable gardens and soybean fields. Growing up, I understand the power of silence and valued the feeling of peace. Growing up in a 2 bedroom room filled with my parents and 7 siblings at the time, it taught me to seek out those moments to quiet my mind. My degree is in English with a double minor in Psychology and Sociology which helps balance out my need to write and express myself and my ability to walk a mild in someone else's shoes. Life is not alway easy for so many and the weight of the world can crush hopes and dreams, but everyday, you get to start from a position of surplus in your life versus a position of deficit. Our culture reinforces that we 'are not enough', 'don't have enough', 'won't be enough' and 'are not loved enough', but having grown up in a household with a father who had a heavy hand and weekend drinking and gambling issue, I know that there is untapped power inside of us to survive whatever situation we are in. I'm here to listen to you, it's time for your healing.
