I’m a renaissance gal. Sometimes it feels like I have lived many many lives. I was born in California, baptized in the Pacific, and raised mostly in a small town in Montana. I’ve been a single mom, soccer mom, foster mom, and now a grandma. I’ve been a high school English teacher, a teacher of kids in crisis, a waitress and a bartender, I’ve run restaurants and opened restaurants for others, the president of my local Chamber Of Commerce, sales lead at Sephora, a blackjack and Poker dealer, and even an airbrush tattoo artist; to name just a few of the things I have done to support myself and my family over the years. I love to travel and I’m fascinated by cultures around the world. I love meeting new people and long conversations. I have been dirt poor and comfortably almost wealthy only to learn the material items don’t bring me joy; I consider myself “rich” because I have friends and family who love me and I love them with all my heart. Have many hobbies and interests, I love to paint and sing, I’m not necessarily great at either but I do them with total reckless abandon. I’ve done a little local community theater with my favorite role being Frau Blucher in the musical Young Frankenstein. I absolutely adore stories, whether they be movies, books, songs, or the stories from friends as we sip a glass of wine. I’m a very good listener and a great conversationalist I would love to chat with you and learn from you, and maybe just help each other wander through this world.
