I am a single disabled mom of a teenager with schizophrenia and toddler with autism. I am Native American and Cuban. My children are mixed with Italian and Puerto Rican. My family and I have been through some things, but we made it through with emotional and mental support from some really wonderful friends. We have lived a couple places in different states and have met a lot of interesting people. I just would like to get back and be a blessing to someone just as I've had people become blessings in our lives. I love to cook I love doing DIY's arts and crafts I love learning new things. I've worked in the barbershop. I'm a master barber I do hair and nails. I play around with make up. I haven't mastered that yet. I love plants and having my own garden. Growing up on the Rez, my grandmother taught me how to grow my own foods. With my children's allergies, mental and neurological issues. Everyone eats differently in my home so love trying new recipes that can accommodate everyone. I love listening to music. I listen mostly to gospel Neil so old school, R&B, etc. I'm learning how to better deal with my toddlers autism. It is very much different than my older child, who is a grown man at this point. I'm learning about schizophrenia, and how to help my teenage daughter to better cope with herself and how to be there for her. It's a tiring and stressful job but I want to, and I am happy to be here for my children.
