Britta grew up in the Pacific Northwest where she learned to adore nature as a young girl. She currently resides in Colorado Springs, Colorado. She was drawn to the Rocky Mountains and the spirituality of their magnificent natural beauty. Her work has grown in scale and complexity as a direct result. She enjoys sharing her connection with natural beauty through her paintings. Britta draws inspiration for her paintings from her husband, a film and television composer, and her two dogs Satchmo and Miles.
