I am a 49 yo male, married, 3 children. I have an Economics university degree, I was a corporate guy for a big chunk of my professional life. Now I'm a freelance career and life coach, with a focus on corporate professionals. I have time on my hands, which I'm using to educate my teenage children, study psychology, and reading a lot, especially non fiction. I'm very interested in psychology, especially cognitive and behavioral, history, politics, traveling, fitness and nutrition. I read extensively on all these topics, so I can and enjoy sustaining indepth conversations on any of them. I'm open though to any topic, at least for mere listening, if it happens to have zero expertise. I'm a good listener and I'm humble enough to admit I don't know things. I'm very eager to learn new things, or new perspectives over things I think I know about. I'm a regular gym goer, also do a lot of home and outdoor training, as well as cycling. In my strength and hypertrophy workouts, I privilege calisthenics. In all areas of self improvement and transformation, I'm the adept of the Japanese Kayzen method, which privileges consistency over intensity. Change achieved in small doses, at regular intervals, over long periods of time. I think of myself as having an interesting and useful life experience, which I'm eager to share with whomever would need it. In my coaching sessions, I practice primarily the art of asking questions (Socrates' maieutic method), but I like to privilege that in any other conversation. I like to let the other find all the answers he or she's looking for, my role being only to guide him/her with the proper questions. I see myself primarily in the role of an older friend, that shares his knowledge about life and business in a discrete and non patronizing manner. I'm open though to friendship with older guys, to mutually benefit of each other's life experience and takes on different issues.
