Alancia Wicks is the Founder of Passion And Purpose. The organization was created to introduce heart health literacy to all communities. Wicks grew up in hospitals due to her mother's health - heart failure ultimately claimed her life. Her time in those environments garnered her interest in learning how to maintain a healthy lifestyle. She decided to come up with a plan to bridge the gap between medical knowledge and our communities. Through programming and partnerships, Wicks plans to decrease heart issues and lend a helping hand to the community. In her programs, she will introduce ways to create a healthy lifestyle and a team of health advocates. "Health" is a broad statement, Passion and Purpose was intentionally founded to focus on one of the most important organs, your heart.
