Per minuteI'm Paul D Mills, a pianist, singer, and composer with a lifelong love for music. My musical journey began at the age of three, and since then, I've had the incredible opportunity to perform as a pianist, singer, and dancer with the renowned Continental Singers, captivating audiences worldwide. Throughout my career, I've been involved in various theatrical productions, including acting with Sight & Sound Theatres and co-writing the off-Broadway sensation "Non-Equity The Musical!" alongside Danielle Trzcinski. Collaborating with exceptional artists has been a highlight of my career. I've had the pleasure of working with renowned performers like Victor Verhaeghe and Broadway's Arbender Robinson, showcasing my versatility and passion for music. Additionally, my skills as a piano technician have allowed me to tune pianos for esteemed musicians such as Billy Joel, Emmanuel Ax, and the Boston Pops, as well as prestigious institutions like the Metropolitan Opera Guild and the French Institute. My involvement with Sight & Sound Theatre has been particularly fulfilling. I joined their writing team for the production of "Samson" and had the honor of serving as Music Producer for the grand-scale production "Queen Esther," which achieved notable success with the cast album reaching the top 10 on the Billboard theatrical charts in 2020. When I'm not immersed in my professional pursuits, I remain deeply connected to my faith and music. I orchestrate and lead music at Perryville Bible Church, where I find joy in enriching worship experiences. Additionally, I devote my time to composing Christ-centered music for Bible Truth Music, aiming to communicate biblical truths through captivating melodies. My educational background has played a significant role in shaping my musical expertise. I studied piano performance and arranging at Columbia International University and graduated from The American Musical and Dramatic Academy (AMDA) in 2007, focusing on acting, musical theater, dance, voice, composition, and arranging. To further expand my musical horizons, I pursued studies in film scoring and orchestration at The Juilliard School. Now, as a faculty member at a music college in NYC, I have the privilege of sharing my knowledge and passion as I teach Musicianship and Composition. With a diverse career encompassing music performance, composition, theater, and piano technology, I am dedicated to leaving a lasting impact on the music industry while nurturing the talents of future generations.
