When it comes to getting to know a bit about me, I feel you will succeed the most upon first impressions and throughout our conversations; But if I must exemplify a brief look into my mind, in word form, I would describe it as ever changing, growing, learning, and conforming. My life has been set on the notion that you can learn anything from every person you encounter… even the worst of the worst. “As our island of knowledge grows so should the shoreline of ignorance.” To be an open book, a complete student is my life’s goal, or shall I say my philosophy. If I can make myself sound as pleasing as possible, since that is what this regards; I aspire to be a philosopher one day, a stoic one at best! In my efforts to do so, I have found many hobbies, and skills, that can only result in making my mind and body sharper. I endeavor in daily games of chess, although I will say I could always sharpen my skills in that aspect. It is a game that continuously requires new strategies to be put in place keeping my mind ready for any change life may present itself. I also have found a love for painting, as I have only dabbled with acrylics, I find joy in painting nature, portraits, depicting realism. I am what they call an “aspiring painter” lol. I use aspiring because I am not the best at it currently and can’t take the title of painter yet or my peers will begin to expect more out of me haha. From the age of 15-18 I worked in an Italian restaurant going from the grill - sous chef - to pizza man. I got everything in the kitchen down to a T and moved on once I turned 18. I still continue to cook to this day and find a true joy within it. I do play video games but believe moderation is key, as it does have its benefits it can also have its downfalls. Sometimes I like to keep my mind focused on the thought that we are constantly awaiting death, every creature is; true it may be a bit pessimistic but hear me out… to waste so much time as if I can continuously acquire more of it is foolish. If only some were to guard their time as they did their bank accounts and finances. This is a step into my mind.
