Hello new buddy! My name is Keri and I'm 38 going on 28... hehe The last 20 years have been a whirlwind of trials, tribulations, wins, losses, and ultimately finding that: I think I had it all wrong. I achieved big goals and managed to raise my son to graduate high school with zero support. Thanks to God above, I successfully avoided being that statistic. I bought a nice home in a well-established neighborhood. I completed my MBA and found myself in a role that I no longer have to nearly die to prove myself. However, I realized I am still not happy. I've cut myself off of the shallow worlds of bar hopping and social media to focus on my physical, mental, and emotional well being. I have spent the last two years putting my health first and am happiest in the gym, and after a work out. I've found that life is not about getting what you need out of it; life is about doing things to fill your OWN cup to be a better version of myself for OTHER people. In an age where there are millions of options of "things" and everyone is worried about "labels", I'm focused on simplifying my life and minding my own damn business. =) Making friends, finding a mentor, and growing your network is not an easy thing to do. I find that no matter how long you've "known" someone, you never really know them. We all get busy with life, and misery loves company. If you're looking for a safe place to be raw and open, I could be the friend for you. My passion when it comes to people is being a resource and accountability partner. I'm not the best choice if you're looking for compassion or an enabler. However if you're like me, and tired of your own destruction, loathing, and overwhelming cynicism, I'm your girl!
