Thank you so much for visiting my profile. I am Head of Global Design for a large fintech company. I am a serial entrepreneur, world traveler, life coach, real estate investor, career advisor and I am offering friendship, companionship, career and travel advice. A little bit about me: I split my time between Austin, Texas and Europe. I've traveled the world, but I'm a southern boy in heart and soul. I'm the creative type, but also technical. My job requires both (as does life). I am an extremely easy going and outgoing professional...launched my own luxury lingerie line so I get to work from anywhere in the world. I am well-traveled (~70+ countries) and like having intellectual conversations. I travel to europe/south america/asia several times a year. I've formally studied french, german, and swedish, but only my german is really decent these days. I'm half-heartedly attempting czech. You'll usually find me in a different country at least every 2 months. I love taking photographs of art nouveau architecture and meeting great people. I like collecting life's little wisdoms. I also collect old stuff that interests me...typically things from the 1920s and 1940s, but I've been known to buy engraved maps from the later 1700s of stockholm, berlin, etc. I still write letters to people. I just bought a gramophone and am now searching for old bygone french records for it. There is much to be appreciated in how people lived back then. My other hobby, which I wished I had more free time for, is photography...mostly black and white photographs of architecture or just uniquely beautiful models/friends. I don't just travel, but truly care about the world around me. I have lived with tribal people in the jungles of southern asia and have a cultural non-profit that aims to document their way of life, tattoos, necklaces, textiles, weapons, etc. I have also worked in refugee camps in war-torn regions. Otherwise, I'm out traveling through europe every summer and freelancing from cafes/bars and taking pics. influences + inspirations: the sisters of mercy, lana del rey, ghostland observatory, interpol, arctic monkeys, boba fett, social workers, backpackers, praha, berlin, scandic design, christiane amanpour, and anything 80s
