Hello! My name is Manish and I'm here because I'm an outgoing person, with a lot of different experiences, perspective and knowledge to share, I do this same thing for work at times except in a conference style room with leaders and other good people looking to build their career or untangle things that have them feeling like they're still rising instead of meeting their goals and achieving. I do this so people can vent, so they can share their own anxieties, fears, hot points and everything in between. I'm a good listener and want to be the person you invest your time and effort into. I'm easy to speak to, I'm very chatty, I have an English accent being born in England, although some people think its a mix between Brooklyn and Jersey (fughedaboutit!) because when I moved to America in my early teens, I lived in, you guessed it, New Jersey! I've been told I don't sound how I look which is always interesting because I think we always build a picture of people in our minds, but you have to be the judge of that. I'm a father, a husband and a lot of other things in my personal life including a chauffeur for my daughter until she's passed her drivers test. Some people see me as a teddy bear, others sometimes feel intimidated but after they get to know me they're like wow, who knew? I'm a man of many tastes and many trades, I love cooking and even have my knife skills down to a tee. I love being a leader in my professional life, I love coaching, mentoring and helping people in their communities, including a strong vein of Outreach style work within a number of communities. I'm big into cars, I've always owned nice cars and have loved modifying cars since I was a teenager, I think its always just been one of those dreams you have growing up poor and seeing others with their fancy and beautiful cars doing unique and beatiful things to them. I will say, I like the fact it delves into self-expression, which matters. I'm one of the founding members of an empowerment and community outreach group named T.E.A.M. (Together Everyone Achieves More). This was an organization created due to there being a gap in the needs of the students on campus and in our local communities. T.E.A.M. was built by likeminded students and faculty from all walks of life, religions, ethnicities and thought processes on the William Paterson University of NJ campus and the main goal for all involved is to uplift and elevate everyone we encounter. I, from a young age, am a DJ and love many aspects of music including the writing and production aspects which I still 'dabble' in from time to time when my schedule and family allow it, I have a lot of friends who know I have a keen ear so they'll play me their work or read me what they've written to bounce it off me for perspective which makes me happy they think I'm worthy! I also love art, I spend time weekly painting with my daughter among other things, for example, we recently painted on canvas using our thumbs as our paintbrush and wow, there were some amazing results. I've been up and down the ladder in corporate and executive America including being an executive leader within fortune 100 companies and have worked as a consulting leader for small and growing brands. I've witnessed every positive and every negative in a workplace you could imagine both through the HR perspective and also simply as a witness in the moment, part of working in retail, customer service, restaurants and other places where you find the wildest of adventures. I've worked in and with unions in my professional experience and have navigated them successfully along with working in the non-profit world and even the world of programming & tech with Dish Network. I'm very much a centrist when it comes to a lot of things going on in all of our lives and love to hear people's opinions and thoughts, friendly and productive conversation, even debate, can create new clarity for all of us. Trust me, I'll challenge you, or maybe I'll agree with you, but it'll be a conversation worth having. I've had the luxury of both exposure from society and from within different family and other cultural dynamics in my life growing up in an abusive home, an ethnic home, a home with an absent parent and a home where education was achieved at the cost of everything else I now know is just as valuable! As a human being I'm often the first to give, I don't ask questions because I know if I'm doing my part, I've been a good person and that is the responsibility of my involvement. I've spent years performing volunteer work and investing my time in people who, like myself, grew up in poverty facing a number of insecurities that have shaped me as a human, along with my perspective and ability to collaborate with people, or simply listen to them speak about their experiences, their hopes, their dreams. I'm always willing to listen because collective knowledge is what makes us stronger as people.
