Luke M.

Biography Luke was born in 1984 from Christian Parents (Jacques and Christine Mbang) in Cameroon, who were already pastors at the time. At the age of 13, his dad enrolled him in a guitar school in Yaounde, Cameroon, (Sky Music Academy) where he completed a first Module of guitar courses. By the age of 14, he started playing the guitar at church and at 18, He went back to Sky Music Academy to complete a second module of guitar courses. By the time Luke got to the university he was very involved with the choir at church and with a campus ministry in Cameroon, by the name; AFECAM (Academy Fellowship Cameroon). Luke became music director at one branch of AFECAM for over two years, during which, he led the choir, and everything related to music in the forum, he also performed with the choir almost every week for close to two years. Later, when Luke was out of the university, he started a music band that he called “Harmony”, the band performed at Weddings, Church services and other Christian events to which the band was invited. Performing with Harmony went on for close to two years, until Luke moved from Yaoundé to Douala, another town in Cameroon. In Douala he fellowshipped with Light House Chapel from 2013, and a few months after he joined the church, he was put in charge of praise and worship; he led the praise and worship team during rehearsals and during church services. While in Douala, Luke released his first music album in 2016 titled "Intimacy", motivated by an encounter with God that changed his life forever, and through which he received healing from sickle cell anemia. Since then, he has had the passion to bring the Gospel and healing to people across the world through the channel of “HealingMusic”. Since 2016, Luke has been releasing music and has been ministering around Cameroon at various events and church services in response to several invitations. Luke is currently working on his second album titled “Identified”, from which a few singles have already been released to hundreds of digital music platforms. The complete album will be released by the end of 2023.
