Prof Dr P V Krupakara Former In charge POrincipal, Former Vice Principal, Former Professor and Head, Department of Chemistry Cambridge It-North Campus Devanahalli-562110 Professor P V Krupakara is an eminent academician, innovative researcher and educationist. His qualifications B.Sc.(PCM), M.Sc.(Chemistry), M.S. (software Systems), M.Phil. (Chemistry), He is a double Ph.D. degree holder in Chemistry from Vinayaka Missions University Salem and Bharathidasan University, Tiruchirapalli. He has more than 40 years of experience as Lecturer, Senior lecturer, Selection grade lecturer, Assistant Professor, Professor and Head of the Department of Chemistry. He is the Vice Principal of Cambridge Institute of Technology North campus since January 2017. He has served as member of Board of Examiners of professional Chemistry Board (B.E. Course) of Bangalore University twice. He has also served as Member, Board of Studies, CMR institute of higher education, Kalyana Nagar, Bangalore an autonomous institution affiliated to Bangalore University and member Board of Examiners, New Horizon College of engineering, an autonomous institution affiliated to Visvesvaraya Technological University, Belagavi. He has served as organizing committee member of National Conferences, Workshops, Seminars conducted by National Corrosion Council of India, Karaikudi, R V college of Engineering, Don Bosco Institute of Technology, Auden technology and Management Academy and Cambridge Institute of Technology North campus. He has guided many projects for B.E. Chemical Engineering students of RV College of Engineering and Dayananda Sagar College of Engineering, Bangalore. He has guided more than fifteen faculty members to get M.Phil and Ph.D. degrees from various universities. Presently he is guiding 8 students for Ph.D. degree of various universities. He was honoured with Innovative Research & Dedicated, Excellent Educationalist Award” by The Society for Innovative Educationalist & Scientific Research Professional, Chennai affiliated to Innovative Scientific Research Professional, Malaysia. “Adarsh Vidya Saraswathi Rashtriya Puraskar” by Global management Council, Ahmedabad, on 22nd December 2019 for excellence in research and teaching. Distinguished Teacher Award of 2018” for outstanding contribution in the field of research and co-curriculum instituted by International Journal for Research under Literal Access He has published fourteen books on chemistry and composite materials. Many of them are translated into various European languages. His feathers in the cap to name a few includes life member of Indian society for technical education, New Delhi, Fellow member of Society for Advancement of Electrochemical Sciences and Technology, Karaikudi, He is also fellow of International Council for Chemistry and Environment, Indore, Madhya Pradesh. As an eminent academician he has delivered invited talks, Presented more than one hundred and thirty five research papers through his research group at various state level seminars, National and International conferences held in India, USA, Ukraine, Malaysia, Thailand and Singapore. Many of his papers presented have won best presentation awards. He has published 83 research papers in reputed International and National Journals. He has chaired a session “Electrolytic Procession III” at Conference on Processing Materials for Properties 2000, held at Renaissance Parc Fifty-five Hotel, Cyril Magnin Street, San Francisco, USA conducted jointly by The Minerals, metals and Materials Society of America & Metals and Mining Institute of Japan during November 5-8, 2000. Chaired a session at “International Conference on Recent Advances in Chemical, Pharmaceutical and Biological Sciences” (RACPSBS 2020) held on 5,6 and 7 March 2020, conducted by Department of Chemistry, Acharya Nagarjuna University, Guntiur.
