I recently found out my childhood best friend of 27 years is gay, i never knew how hard it is to keep such a big secret it especially from the closest people to you. As suicide being the number one cause of death in the LGBTQ+ community, i have decided to want to contribute and help those who suffer from coming out to their families. Also coming from the middle east I understand how difficult it is to come out, as it is frowned upon by 99% of the community due to religious and cultural reasons, and closeted people are forced to travel abroad just feel safe and comfortable in their skin. All that said, I would love to help people who are looking for a non judgemental friend to talk to and maybe help them gain more confident in their selves.
