I didn't grow up with much. There were days in my childhood when studying by candlelight wasn't poetic it was just reality. My family had little, but they poured everything into one dream: that I would become a doctor. I carried that dream through years of sacrifice, long nights, self doubt, and moments I almost gave up. Today, I am a medical doctor based in Kigali, Rwanda and I still pinch my
