I am a family man in Mississippi with a colorful background. I am an experienced world traveler, musician, former ex-pat in China, and at one time street busker in Europe. I have a deep interest in ideas, music, language, and all things spiritual. The time I don't spend with my family (wife and three kids) is now used in the field of real estate and entrepreneurship. I am also a former firefighter and I still currently work part-time as an EMT. I have many stories. I also spent almost 20 years as an English teacher, and taught ESL to all manner of students in China. Other random stuff: I have been playing guitar for over 30 years; I speak Mandarin Chinese; I love birding and I am pretty knowledgeable about American birds; 2 years of my childhood were spend in Kuwait; After all of the different places I've traveled and lived, I've found my home in Mississippi and don't plan on going anywhere.
