In my early professional years i was asking thin question. How can i treat, or cure, or change this person? Now i would phrase the question in this way; How can i provide a relationship which this person may use for his or her personal growth? So i have learned to ask myself, Can i hear the sounds and sense the shape of the inner world? Can i resonate to what he is saying so deeply.
