My name is Dirk and I'm originally from Belgium. I spent most of my adult life as a bachelor, backpacking across the globe, doing a wide variety of jobs and seeing fascinating places. I later joined a security team in Afghanistan and did this for several years before meeting my match, getting married and settling down in the beautiful Cape Town, South Africa, where I now enjoy a peaceful life.
