Hi ?? my name is Joseph, but my friends call me JD, so feel free? I’m originally from the United States, born in NY, though I’ve traveled & lived in a group of different countries. I am former military (U.S. Army/Isreali Army) combat instructor?? Most of my adult life, I have been a teacher of some kind, but always a student first. I have taught English and science in the US as well as owning & Operating a self-defense & fitness academy for over 10 years. In recent years, I have been traveling across south east Asia, teaching, both classroom and online as a life coach and ESL teacher?? My passion and mission in life is to share knowledge acquired and pay it forward as I travel & meet & others i learn from who help me do the same?? I have had the opportunity to teach in different countries, especially south east Asia and I am currently in Thailand, teaching and training, but soon will go to Vietnam?? Some of my interests/hobbies Besides teaching are Exercise & Fitness, martial arts, sports, Outdoor activities, writing. I love nature and finding new places to explore. I love FOOD of all kinds & exploring Any new places from fine dining to local street food, to try new dishes or just return to my favorites? I also like to cook sometimes because I can take my time & make things exactly how I prefer or even try new ways with new recipes & enjoy at home.
