Something friends have confirmed about me is that, I am a listener (listening is not all about hearing a friend talk, it's about paying attention to vital details, recognizing the emotional state of your friend (happy, sad, angry etc), letting him/her know you understand how he/she feels, and possibly helping him /her feel better.
