I always enjoy meeting new people and having conversations with them. My friends describe me as a friendly, easy to talk to, understanding person who is a good listener and wants to help someone in need. Throughout my life, I have tried my best to be empathetic towards others while maintaining a positive attitude. My parents instilled in me the importance of being respectful towards everyone regardless of their race or background. I have always been fascinated by different cultures and love learning about them from people themselves. This has helped me become more open-minded and accepting of differences. It allows me to put myself into other people's shoes when they are going through something difficult. As an introverted person growing up, listening became one way for me to connect with others since speaking out wasn't always comfortable for me. Being able to listen attentively without interrupting someone makes them feel heard which can be therapeutic for them.
