Born in Mississippi, raised in small town Ohio. I would tell school aged friends that I was getting out of the "sticks" and never returning...and I did just that ..... I joined the U.S. Navy!! They kept their promise, I got to see the world and met some amazing lifelong friends. Eight years of Navy duty the travel bug never left my soul as a civilian. I still love meeting new people as well.
