Ian M.

Hi there! My name is Ian and I am from South Africa. I'm a qualified teacher and have taught English online for the last 3 years. I've met students from all over the world. When I'm not teaching, I work as a freelance copywriter. I've worked with some really cool brands over the years, both local and international. As for hobbies, I love being active when I can. My sleepy city is a hub of outdoor activities and I'm currently training for a half marathon. I'm also a bookworm and love a good read, rainy afternoon or not. When I'm not reading, I'm bingeing the latest TV series and movies (or at least bingeing reviews to decide which ones are worth watching). Got a recommendation? I'd love to hear it! What can you expect during a session with me? That's up to you! I'm a good listener and my time as an online teacher has developed a passion my for learning more about different countries and cultures. Whether it's breaking news, your favourite movies and books, or just a vent about your workday, I'm keen to chat about any topic. I hope we can speak soon!
