Hi! I'm Ben, I grew up in Kitchener Ontario having a pretty quiet life. I performed well in high-school and had a tight circle of friends, not too many but we were quite close. I played football, but my main sport was rugby. Some friends and I also made a curling team in grade 12 and it was a blast. I ended up enrolling in the University of Waterloo for math, hoping to establish a career in software development, maybe even game development, however after a couple coop terms I realized I couldn't do it for the next 40 years of my life and I transferred into psychology! Now I am in a masters of counselling psychology online with Yorkville University with the aspiration of becoming a psychotherapist. I love talking with people. I love joking around, it is my baseline, however I am quite empathetic and quick to read a room and can have much more serious conversations as well if that is what floats your boat. Hobbies of mine include but are not limited to: Videogames, Anime, Movies, Woodcarving, Woodworking, Pyrography, Drawing, Photography, Reading, Weightlifting/Yoga/general fitness, and Outdoorsy stuff when I can.
