My parents tell me that when I was younger, my favorite phrase to use was, "there has got to be an easier way to do this." Necessity is the mother of invention, and my determination to make life easier has led me to create numerous solutions to try and simplify daily tasks. I didn't know it at the time, but it was that mentality that would drive me towards engineering in the future.
